Drink Local: September 23-29

Get ready and prepare your livers, because it is another extremely busy week ahead! It is the first full week of September and today is the first official day of fall, which means we are definitely in the height of Oktoberfest and Pumpkin beer season!

Highlights this week (sorry, there are a lot!) include a variety of seasonal beer releases, a Great Pumpkin Roasting event at Bristol, special GABF beers releasing at Trails End, and Dueces Wild’s second location has a grand opening on Friday! This weekend, attend the Dead Man’s Brew Fest at Weidner Field, join Metric for their Goodbye Summer/Hello Fall Festival, Trails End’s Oktoberfest, or JAK’s Falcon to celebrate JAKtoberfest,. Drink with Avery Brewing to raise money at Tap Traders, or attend Manitou’s Heritage Brewfest. If you feel like heading North, there is Black Forest Brewing’s or Pikes Peak Brewing’s Oktoberfest as well as the Elizabeth Hops Festival.

Want to help kick off Creek Week Cleanup to ensure we have clean water for clean beer? Atrevida is hosting a pint night to benefit the Brewshed Alliance on Friday, Bristol has a kickoff cleanup (with free beer for those who help) on Saturday, and Black Forest is also doing a 5k to benefit the local Brewshed Alliance on Sunday.
