Wiley Roots Celebrates Release of Pua Aloalo with Weekend Luau

GREELEY, CO - Wiley Roots Brewing Company is excited to announce the return of Pua Aloalo, a Mixed Culture Sour Golden with Hawaiian Hibiscus and Vanilla. After three years, the brewery will release Pua Aloalo during their Second Annual Luau weekend, from May 31 - June 2, 2019. The luau will also include LIVE music, special food options, FOUR new beers on site and to-go, and TWO exclusive beers on-site only.

Pua Aloalo will be available for pre-sale online, Monday, May 27, 2019 at 10am with a limit of 3 bottles per person. Bottles are $14 per 500ml (taxes and fees are included) and will be available to pick up from May 31 - June 30, 2019. Pua Aloalo is a unique beer from most aged sours, as it was aged in stainless steel for over two years. While some beers benefit from aging on wood with the introduction of oak tannins and slow oxygen ingress, Wiley Roots said that Pua Aloalo was aged in stainless steel so that no additional flavors or compounds were added to the beer.

More information about Pua Aloalo can be found on the brewery’s website: http://www.wileyroots.com/pua-aloalo

This is a very special beer for us; this is only the second time we’ve released this beer and it has been three years since the first release. When we were thinking about crafting the second release of this beer, we wanted to make sure that it was accessible, because we think this beer is truly something special and wanted to make sure as many people could enjoy it as possible. That being said, we used only high quality ingredients (vanilla is damn expensive!) to make this beer exactly the way we wanted.
