Well this month has flown by! Starting with the Crafters’ Festival, it’s been a whirlwind of exciting events! Coming up in the last part of the month, there’s still more to be done.
This Friday, Smiling Toad is celebrating their first anniversary! They’ve got some new outdoor furniture and a top-secret major announcement (and of course beer), so head on out after work Friday and help celebrate!
Also Friday, Red Leg Brewing is releasing their newest creation: Saison Rose, a saison brewed with rose hips and grains of paradise! Taps start flowing at 5pm!
HOMEBREWERS: Homebrewers, don’t forget Great Storm Brewing is accepting entries Wednesday thru Saturday from 5-8pm for their first ever homebrew competition! If you’re not planning on making the mini-voyage up to La Foret, check out Brewer’s Republic on Friday for their Left Hand Brewing tap takeover, or grab yourself some tickets to the Epic Brewing beer dinner that’s happening Saturday. Head to Brewer’s or Coaltrain for tickets…if there’s any left. Josh has been putting together some killer dinners with the kitchen there. Info on the beer dinner: Not long ago Epic Brewing Company took a tremendous leap from Utah to Colorado. We couldn’t be happier, their beers have loads of flavor and are continuously impressive. Heading west, Manitou Brewing will be hosting the latest installment of the highly popular Brewers Broads events on Tuesday the 27th. They’ll be taking a tour of Manitou’s brewing setup, and trying all the great beers. Ladies, if you need a beer-related excuse to get out of the house next Tuesday, this is it! In northern news, Pikes Peak Brewing will be having their awesome pint night at Brewer’s Republic next Friday the 30th, and Today, the 22nd, they’re doing a tapping of their Highlander Scottish Ale that benefits Autism Speaks…should be amazing.
