Pikes Peak Brewing Company has experienced 35% growth year over year since opening its doors in May 2011. “As we continue to work to meet demand, we plan to increase our brewery space by an additional 25% in 2014.” Says Chris Wright, Founder and Head Brewer at PPBC. “This second expansion will allow us space for our own Wild Goose 4-head canning line as well as additional barrel storage and cold storage for our wholesale inventory.”

The installation of a canning line at the brewery will make it possible for PPBC to product new cans such as the Gold Rush Belgian Golden Ale as well as some of the more popular seasonal brews.
The additional barrel storage capability will also help with increasing production of the ever popular Penrose Private Reserve barrel aged series of beers
During 2013 PPBC produced nearly 2,000 barrels of brew, and this year it is on target to produce 3,000 barrels. The new expansion is on target for completion during late summer of 2014.
