As we recover from the Craft Brewers Conference, there are a few noteworthy local beer events happening this week! Bristol and Paradox, who are teaming up for a beer dinner in a few weeks as a part of Colorado Springs Craft Week are both doing a dinner this week respectfully. Brewer’s Republic, as always has some awesome beers going on tap, and Saison Rendezvous is this weekend! And Firestone Walker descends on our burg with a tapping at Front Range and a Dinner at Brewers!

Bristol Beer Dinner at the Golden Bee
Join Mike and Amanda Bristol at the Golden Bee for a three course beer dinner featuring the following:
1st: Goat cheese and caramelized onion tart with an apricot and fennel compote paired with the Bristol Tripel.
2nd: Braised lamb, onion, cabbage, mushroom, Dutchess Potato, and carrot Shepherd’s Pie paired with the Bristol English Old Ale.
3rd: White coffee and date mousse cake with a kumquat preserve and hazelnut chantilly paired with the Bristol Old #23 Barley Wine

Firestone Walker Tapping at Front Range BBQ
Join us for our next tapping party! The evening of April 16th we will be featuring beers from Firestone Walker Brewing Co.!
“Firestone Walker Brewing Company brewed its first beer in 1996 in a small facility rented from the Firestone Vineyard estate in Santa Barbara County. In 2001 owners Adam Firestone and David Walker purchased the SLO Brewing Company located in Paso Robles, CA.
Firestone Walker’s ales are selectively fermented in the Firestone Union oak barrel brewing system. The Firestone Union incorporates 65-gallon, medium and heavy toast American oak barrels.
Firestone Walker Brewing Company continues to grow as the palates of Americans migrate to craft beer. Our brew staff have picked up “Mid Size Brewery of the Year” at the World Beer Cup an unmatched four times.”
We will be featuring the following beers:
Pivo Hoppy Pilsner
– As a twist on the traditional Pils, we dry hop with German Saphir for a touch of bergamot zest and lemongrass. A refreshing, light-bodied and hop-driven Pils.
–Inviting lemon grass and gooseberry meet peppery spice and fresh grain aromas. Spicy Belgian yeast create a complex yet dry and refreshing canvas with splashes of citrus and stone fruit with a bright tropical white wine finish.
Parabola Russian Imperial Stout
– Bold bourbon, tobacco and espresso aromas and a hint of American oak greet the nose. Rich, chewy roasted malts, charred oak and bourbon-like vanilla fill the palate and create a seamless finish.
Beers will be tapped by 6PM

California has several amazing breweries. One of our favorites is Firestone Walker Brewing Co. Since 1996 they have been producing some of the best beer in the west. Their oaken barrel fermentation system gives all their beers diverse flavor, and we enjoy them immensely.
So of course we had to feature them in a beer dinner. April 19th, we’ll be paring five amazing beers to five awesome courses for $45*.
