Two Upcoming Beer Events at The Warehouse

There are two good looking beer events coming up in Colorado Springs that look to be organized by Coaltrain’s Wine/Liquor/Beer shop and both take place at The Warehouse restaurant. They are listed below.

1. Sour Beer Tasting
Dec. 1 /// 6:30pm
$40 /// RSVP to Coaltrain’s is Necessary

This is our third installment of the sour beer tasting. I was just digging through my secret stash of cellar beers and sours, and I discovered a handful of special brews I forgot I was saving. These were earmarked for the next sour tasting, and that is now! Please join us on Wednesday, December 1st at 6:30 at The Warehouse to taste 12 deliciously sour beers. The beers will range from slightly sour to mouth puckering monsters. Some with fruit added, and some that will take you back to your days cleaning out the horse stalls at Grandpa’s farm.

The Warehouse will provide munchies and two courses of food to pair with the beers. The cost is $40 per person and includes a souvenir tasting glass. The dinner starts promptly at 6:30, so don’t be late. Call Coaltrain at 475-9700 to make your reservation.

2. The Infamous Christmas Sale Tasting
Dec. 9 /// 6:30-9:30pm
$35 /// RSVP to Coaltrain’s Necessary

This is one of the best tastings of the year. Not only do you get the chance to try over 30 wines and a dozen beers, but you get a great spread of food from The Warehouse with live entertainment. This tasting features all of our Christmas Sale wines. Try before you buy. We will also feature some of our specialty beers, pouring some of our delicious seasonal beers as well as some unique year-round offerings. This year we are also offering a special $15 Designated Driver ticket that allows the responsible person to enjoy the food, hot cocoa, sparkiling cider, and other N/A drinks while still ensuring their party arrives home safely. Please Call Coaltrain at 475-9700 to make your reservation for the one tasting you don’t want to miss!
